One evening last week in Jerusalem an Italian journalist told me that a note had arrived in Italy where it was said that the agency at a press conference in the morning I would have said that Berlusconi was like Hitler, and already some influential representatives of the majority had issued statements about my "delusional" statement, in their opinion that offended the entire Jewish community (sic). Which was apparently busy in another matter, because the next morning several large Israeli newspapers reported that chronicles the press conference (the "Jerusalem Post, his goodness, I even devoted an opening on the front page and almost the entire third page) but had no mention of Hitler, but there was spread on the real issues that had been discussed. No sensible person, as critical of Berlusconi, would think to compare him to Hitler, as Berlusconi has sparked a world war to 50 million people, has killed 6 million Jews, has not closed the parliament of the Weimar Republic , did not constitute departments brownshirts and SS, and so on. What had happened that morning then?
